I have to say ... these:

look nice.

Might make a nice distraction from Space Combat?

That's a great help Mike.

Aeronef doesn't use altitude but a few people have come up with some alternate rules so it might be worth a look see. In addition I am contemplating magnets as it will aid storeage.

:)

Agent Expendable ... Willpower = 0 :-)

Ssendam ... Willpower = -1

I think it's just me, I went for German's v British Starter pack but I have bought a few other bits. The Japanese carrier is Awesome.

The rules better be good after all this!

I think www.wargamesvault.com has a pdf version, AND they say the Captain's Handbook add on is worth it. I think they are $8 each from wargamesvault ... or you can get a look at my .pdf copy. I am looking for some "off site storage" for the backup files of those .pdfs :)

Hi guys

I had decided to invest a little in Aeronef.

Which fleets are you looking at getting so I don't double up with someone else?

I was thinking of getting the US vs Japanese starter pack.

I think the scale is 1:1200. I know that people do use the Langton terrain to great effect, however the terrain that Mike has for WoW (2mm irregular) does look perfect ... IMHO

I like the look of Aeronef.

I would be in for getting the rule book myself first.

What scale of terrain and buildings would we need? I think it is 1:12000. Not sure other than Michael's langton naval if we have much.

Welcome Agent Expendable :)

I have a copy of the rules + a few mini's on order so I can tell you soon enough, (or just bring them down).

Reading around the Aeronef rules themselves are supposedly very straight forward. A internet source have suggested more comprehensive rules and also modifications for smaller engagements including height levels.

Mike ... where did you get those magnets from for WoW?

Looks like fun, something different. Are the rules simple?

I've always liked the look of them but they always seemed a little expensive for what they are.
Anyone remember reading Warlord of the Air by Michael Moorcock in their youth?
