A number of the adult members are wondering how to get some of the juniors involved in a club project.
Firstly we have purchased some high impact polystyrene boards to make into baseboards and contoured hills. We intend to bring in the juniors, and any other members who may be interested in lending a hand, to make the terrain - perhaps on a Saturday afternoon.

Are there any projects the junior members would like to start themselves? Any figures or periods that take their fancy? LET US KNOW!

I would suggest plastic figures due to their cost and availability. They currently cover:
Ancient Greeks, Celts and Ancient Britons, Romans, Germanic tribes, Vikings, War of the Roses, English Civil War, Napoleonic French & British, Zulu Wars.
All in 28mm scale.
In 20mm almost all of World War 1 & 2 armies are covered as well as more modern conflicts.
These are mostly scales we already use for the various periods so any figures bought and painted could either fit into existing armies or fight against existing ones.
I would also propose that we have a painting day to help introduce them to painting techniques.
