Just to keep this thread going a little longer. I have just bought a armoured paddlesteamer from pmc on ebay.
I'll get started on some buildings before the year is out and then...

I don't think it's a problem. A unit of 10 or so British infantry alongside 40 Mahdists would be a reasonable balance, and would add to the Brits we already have in the collections.

Well I will for sure BUT Kevin raised a good point that people might want to have a uint of tribesmen and a unit of Brits/Egyptians. That way they have a force that can use in a skirmish game as a pose to some tribesmen only useable if a Big Sudan game is on?

I'm not fussed because I can use them in the Pulp games I'm planning.

Great, £18 for 40 figures. So if everyone pre-orders a box I reckon we can have a very large force very quickly. Who wants to participate?
