Assuming I am invited to do an all day AOE, does anyone has any preferences for an AOE battle.

Can we extend to 2 days or is this stretching committment levels?

Scenarios I am looking at are
Katzbach
La Rothiere
Dennewitz

If you want something more bespoke - a combined Ligny/Quatre Bras

I think the Arnhem game is a great idea. Do we need to construct some scenery?
My suggestion would be a large pirate ship battle with those ships none of us have built yet.

Just to update anyone who hasn't looked at the Game Diary on the site.
We have arranged some dates for all day games at the Scout Hall.
30th April - Dark Age Campaign
9th July - 15mm Napoleonic
15th October - The battle of Marston Moor, English Civil War
We have also put forward a date for our Open Day on September 17th.
Any suggestions for Open Day activities and volunteers to assist in preparing the other games are most welcome.

Well, if needed I'll happily do 2 brigades, (which If I'm not mistaken is about 6 based of 4 figures? ... if infantry, but I'll do Cavalry as well)

HOWEVER

I'll wait to be asked and directed as to what to get.

Just an update on the all day games.
Kutusov would like to stage Dresden 1813 using Age of Eagles rules. This may be in August. Fyi Ssendam we will need more Austrians for this one. Contact Kutusov for more details.
To get things started, I propose a Dark Ages mini-campaign or a large battle in the Spring (Easter perhaps).
Any other suggestions?

Having spoken to David, he seems to think if the fees are increased as proposed, and the membership stays bouyant, then we should be able to have more all day games next year.
On Ssendam's point - hold fire we may already have enough figures for some of the games mentioned. If not, those are the units to paint up. I'm sure we'll find out from Kutusov. Minifigs are OK but other manufacturers appear in our collections; Old Glory, Fantassin, Battle Honours and a number of manufacturers no longer with us (a moments silence).

Well I hope to be around for the next on, whatever it is.

I'm more than happy to contribute a couple of units if we are going for something a bit different.

What figure manufacturer is the "standard"? MiniFigs?
